Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but due to limited space and the nature of the event, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adult-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to having you join us for a wonderful evening!

What should I wear?

While there’s no strict color code, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing sage green or lavender, as these are colors we’ve chosen for the wedding party. We’d love to keep the focus on our bridal party and create a cohesive look, but feel free to get creative with other colors and styles! Please note the ceremony will be on grass, wear comfortable shoes.

What's the dress code?

The dress code for our celebration is formal. We welcome both desi wear (traditional Indian, Pakistani attire) and western-style formal wear (suits, evening gowns, etc.). Please feel free to dress in whatever style you feel most comfortable and beautiful in.

How far is the venue from Brampton/Toronto?

Just a heads-up: the venue is approximately 1 hour from Brampton. We recommend planning your trip accordingly so you can arrive by 3:30 PM for the ceremony. Please be mindful that our wedding weekend takes place during University of Waterloo/Laurier move-in weekend.

Is transportation provided?

Details to come regarding transportation between the hotel and venue.

Will there be parking available?

Yes! There is plenty of free parking available at the venue for all of our guests. The parking lot is spacious and conveniently located just steps from the ceremony and reception areas.

What time should I arrive?

To ensure everyone is settled and ready to enjoy the ceremony, we kindly ask that all guests arrive at the venue by 3:30 PM. This will give you plenty of time to find parking, grab a seat, and be ready for the groom and bride to meet at the altar at 4:00 PM.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

We’re excited to share that both our ceremony and reception will be held at the same location! No need to travel between venues – everything will take place at Elle by Stella in St. Jacobs. Enjoy the celebration without the hassle of moving from one location to another! We look forward to having you with us for both the ceremony and the reception at this beautiful venue.

Are there vegetarian or dietary options available?

Yes there is a vegetarian option available for your main course. Please also include any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

We wanted to let you know that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. Please come prepared for the beautiful outdoor setting! Once the cocktail hour concludes, we’ll move indoors for the reception, where we’ll enjoy dinner, dancing, and celebration. We recommend dressing comfortably and bringing a light layer for the evening, just in case it gets a little chilly outdoors.

What happens if it rains?

We wanted to put your mind at ease – don’t worry if it rains! While we’re hoping for beautiful weather, the venue has a fantastic indoor contingency plan in place. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside, so the celebration will go on smoothly, rain or shine.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment and enjoy the experience with us. Our professional photographer will be capturing the beautiful moments, and we can’t wait to share those photos with you later! Please feel free to take all the pictures you’d like during the reception.

Will alcohol be served?

We’re excited to share that alcohol will be served at our wedding! We’ll have a selection of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options available during the cocktail hour and reception. So raise a glass and get ready to celebrate with us!

What’s the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 25th, using the RSVP section of the website. If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please include them in your RSVP.

Can I change my RSVP later?

Already RSVP'd but need to make a change? No problem! You can update your RSVP directly from the confirmation email you received after submitting your response. Simply click the "Update RSVP" link to adjust your attendance, meal preferences, or any other details.
